Dayna U is a division of Dayna Designs, LLC, a Maryland-based jewelry design and production company serving the retail and wholesale markets with distinctive lines of brand-name designer and collegiate sterling silver and gemstone jewelry.

Dayna U collegiate jewelry is the way to wear school spirit in style! Composed of genuine stones and sterling silver, Dayna U jewelry incorporates school colors, mascots, and logos into each piece. Students, parents, alumni, faculty and staff, tourists, and fans love to show their school pride with Dayna U jewelry on game day and at more formal events.

Our collegiate jewelry is officially licensed by the Licensing Resource Group, the Collegiate Licensing Company, and individual universities as required. We also maintain approved vendor status with Follett Higher Education Group, which manages 700 college bookstores nationwide. In addition, we are represented by OneCoast collegiate sales representatives. CEO Dana Lande founded Dayna Designs, LLC in Spring 2004. While completing her MBA at the University of Maryland’s Smith School of Business, Dana had picked up the hobby of jewelry designing. Following a warm reception to her designer jewelry pieces by friends and family, she decided to turn her flair for jewelry design into a business. The Dayna U collegiate jewelry division was born on the heels of the business, after Dana was asked to design a collegiate line of jewelry for University of Maryland graduates in 2004. Upon the incredible success of the University of Maryland Terrapin jewelry, she expanded to sell lines of Dayna U jewelry to universities across the country.

Of key importance to Dana is to create a business that is fair and socially responsible. Dayna Designs is a member of the Fair Labor Association, and we strive to work with U.S. manufacturers that are fair trade organizations or members of the Fair Labor Association.

In addition, Dayna Designs has production partnerships with non-profit organizations that provide training, jobs, and a living wage to disabled or socio-economically disadvantaged individuals. Currently, we work with Goodwill Industries, Melwood, and CHANGE. Working with these groups keeps jobs in the United States, affords individuals in need with job skills, procures high quality handcrafted products, and fulfills our mission as a corporate citizen.
